Summary
Plasmid DNAs of YEp13 and pMA56 were encapsulated in liposomes. Cells ofSaccharomyces cerevisiae strain SHY3 were protoplasted. After fusing membranes of the liposomes and the protoplasts, transformation of the regenerated yeast cells with the plasmids has been confirmed.
