Summary
A high productivity process for glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase using a strain ofEscherichia coli genetically modified for the high production of this enzyme is described. The fermentation is srongly dependent on the levels of essential nutrients, implying strict physiological control of the gene expression.
