Growth behavior of immobilized acetic acid bacteria

  • Published:
Biotechnology Letters Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Released free cells of immobilized growing acetic acid bacteria during 460 days of long run in a bioreactor were increased at a high dilution rate. This was interpreted by the facts that newly released cells from the carrier showed a synchronized growth and had extremely high growth rates and a respiratory activity. The suitable leakage is effective for high productivity of the immobilized growing cell culture.
