Abstract
Using DPAC the magnitude and spatial distribution of the hyperfine field for Cd-impurities in Ni metal is studied as a function of magnetizing field up to 5.5 T for polycrystal and single crystal samples. Above 0.07 T magnetizing field, no indication is found of any deviation of the hyperfine field direction with respect to the applied field. The local field is found to be constant (−6.69 (3) T) below saturation and then decrease linearly with applied field.
