Time-dependent perturbed angular correlation study of181Ta in Mg

Abstract

The quadrupole interaction of181Ta in Mg metal has been investigated at room temperature by time differential perturbed angular correlation method yieldingv Q=127±7 MHz. The observed EFG is calculated to be 20.8×1016 V/cm2.
