Abstract
At present a large number of theoretical and experimental studies have been devoted to the problems of initiation and development of natural convection [1–4]. However, so far investigators have not paid much attention to the study of the damping characteristics of natural convection. In the present work the problem of cooling of a liquid in the presence of natural convection is solved by numerical methods.
