Flame propagation in the turbulent flow of a burning mixture

  • V. R. Kuznetsov
Article

Abstract

The propagation of a flame in the turbulent flow of a burning mixture is analyzed theoretically. An equation is derived for the gas temperature and velocity probability distributions. The solutions of this equation are analyzed and the rate of flame propagation is determined.
