Conclusions

The above investigations have confirmed the advisability of designing a highly-sensitive automatic potentiometer with a photogalvanometric null detector.

In order to provide single-unit high-quality potentiometers according to the above circuit, it is necessary to revise the design of the ÉPP-09 instrument for the purpose of reducing considerably its power dissipation and simplifying its mechanism.
