Synopsis
Electron microscopic observations of urinary glycoprotein have revealed the presence of thin intertwining fibres of variable length. The molecular entanglement noted may provide an explanation for discrepancies between a number of earlier reports. No differences were noted in the glycoprotein isolated from normal and fibrocystic subjects.
