Deriving conditions for the metrological interchangeability of differential-transformer instruments

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Interchangeability conditions for differential-transformer instruments have been obtained.

  2. 2.

The conditions thus found should serve as a foundation for developing interchangeable instruments.

  3. 3.

On the basis of these conditions it is necessary to develop a technique for a separate testing of primary and secondary instruments.

  4. 4.

A probability analysis of the above conditions will serve to develop more substantiated technical requirements for the interchangeability of instruments and their components.
