Spring-loaded instruments for testing dimension and displacements, and the prospect of their development

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Spring-loaded instruments for testing dimensions and displacements have good working qualities and are widely used in our national economy.

  2. 2.

Mechanisms with a twisted tape, which provide large transfer ratios, are the most promising for use in precision instruments.

  3. 3.

Further development is aimed at designing more reliable and especially precise spring-loaded instruments.
