Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

This method of testing for Δf g (parasitic FM) in a generator with AM can be operated with three standard instruments: a deviometer, a selective millivoltmeter, and a phase meter.

It has also been shown that the test can be performed for modulation frequencies up to 300 kHz and for m up to 70–80%.
