Conclusions

1. Ultrasonic washing of block gauges and other measuring instruments reduces considerably (by more than 50%) the time required for this operation. 2. Our tests have shown that it is possible to replace the aviation gasoline, which is now widely used for washing measuring instruments, by alkaline cleansing solutions.
