Conclusions
An investigation of existing sizes of standardized thread gauges for the purpose of their application for testing ISO threads has shown that, out of 1,220 standard sizes of GO plug thread gauges, 1,103 sizes, or 90%, can be used for testing metric ISO threads, including 161 out of 278 standard sizes, or 58%, of 1st class GO gauges which can be used for testing precision class 4H metric ISO threads.
