Extending measurement ranges of pneumatic systems

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

1. Various methods for extending the measurement ranges of pneumatic systems were investigated experimentally. Experimental characteristics of ejector systems have been provided, including systems with a detached ejector, which attain measurement ranges of 0.5–0.9 mm. 2. A new method of extending the measurement ranges of pneumatic systems by means of a focusing nozzle has been investigated. This method increases the measurement ranges up to 1–2 mm.
