Conclusions
-
1.
All the branches of measurement techniques at a plant should be concentrated in a single department, the Central Measuring Equipment Laboratory (a department of the chief metrologist).
-
2.
The TsLIT must be an independent structural unit of a plant.
-
3.
The TsLIT of a plant should consist of several laboratories (at a large plant) or groups (at a medium plant), each of which is engaged in a specific branch of measurements.
-
4.
The combination of the metrological and automation services, at least in large enterprises, is inadvisable.
-
5.
It is necessary to establish uniform names for the professions of metrological-services workers, uniform requirements for their qualifications, and uniform programs for their training.
