Conclusions

Further improvements in the testing of gearing should develop along the following lines:

  • Development and improvement of measuring instruments for testing machining lathes and tools;

  • production of trimming devices for direct operation in production processes;

  • development and improvement of automatic devices for comprehensive double-profile testing;

  • improvement and design of instruments for comprehensive single-profile testing, together with devices for the harmonic analysis of measurement results;

  • improvement of instruments for production and sample testing of various gear components, and in the first place raising the accuracy and reliability of these instruments.
