Chemotaxonomy and flavonoids ofGaillardia sectionHollandia (Asteraceae-Helenieae)

Abstract

Eleven flavonoids, eight glycoflavones, two 6-methoxyethers, and one dihydroflavonol, were isolated from three “species” ofGaillardia sect.Hollandia. The similarity of the flavonoid profiles suggests that only one species is involved.
