Effect of the internal impedance of a rectangular pulse source on the operation of a voltage generator

Conclusions

The relationships thus derived for the condition of Ri≠0 provide a reasonable approach to the selection of the amplification constant k=1+Δ, and make it possible to determine the maximum value of the relative error (12) which is smaller than for the case of k=1 (7).

Under actual conditions 2<k<8; an amplification constant of k>1 for a phase shift angleϕ=0 can only be obtained by means of multistage amplifiers.

Our tests have shown good agreement with the theoretical conclusions.
