Calibration of gradient calorimeters

Abstract

We describe a pulsed energy method for calibration of a gradient calorimeter (in which the temperature gradient in the load is measured) and an automated apparatus for realization of the method. We determine the sensitivity of the calorimeter to cw power and pulsed energy.
