Synthesis of a primitive error function made directly from its difference measurements results

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

The above method of direct synthesis of a primitive function from difference measurement results provides the possibility of determining the actual nature and value of the controlled functional errors.

In this connection there is the possibility of raising considerably the precision of measurements by means of existing instruments designed on the difference principle, with these instruments then obtaining a new significance.

The method for regenerating results in controls with two reference bases requires more detailed consideration of specific measuring circuits and instruments.

The above relationships can also be used in designing technological circuits for manufacturing components, for instance, for cutting splines of precision dividing discs, making plane surfaces by the method of sequential comparison of several surfaces, etc.
