Conclusions
1. The suggested elastic-contact method for calibrating impact accelerometers is based on measuring the dimensions of the contacting surface of colliding bodies, it is very simple, and its error does not exceed ±3%.
The calibration results obtained by means of the elastic-contact, ballistic, and computation methods provide a good agreement with one another.
