Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

It should be noted that the possibility of separate balancing of bridge circuits is very important not only for manually-operated bridges, but also for designing automatic bridges. In particular, on the basis of the above method of separate balancing it becomes possible to design a digital automatic bridge for evaluating both components of an impedance by the digit-by-digit measuring method and, thus, eliminate the well-known difficulties which arise in using tracking systems.
