Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

It is possible to evaluate the actual deviations of the tested profile from the specified theoretical contour by using an adjustable set of equidistant profiles and measuring the clearance with flexible stepped feeler gauges.

The objectivity in evaluating these deviations raises the quality and reliability of essential articles of a complicated shape, especially in the case of small-scale production with types of articles which are seldom repeated.
