Abstract
A stripline transducer for measuring a pulsed electromagnetic field is proposed, the shape of which enables its electrical length to be increased considerably while keeping its actual dimensions small. An expression is obtained for the potential-difference distribution along the stripline transducer when it is excited by a pulsed electromagnetic field of step-shaped form. The theoretical results obtained are confirmed by experiment.
