Abstract

An optimal polyharmonic measuring signal for the operational monitoring of data transmission and communications systems is proposed, which gives the highest values of the power utilization coefficient, uniformity and accuracy in specifying the amplitudes of the harmonic components, and interference protection. A procedure for synthesizing such signals and a block diagram of the measuring generator are given.
