Conclusions

The above formulas serve to evaluate the voltage and the number of pulses required for charging the measuring capacitor of an amplitude diode voltmeter with a capacitive potential divider and electrostatic instrument up to a voltage which approaches that corresponding to the ratio of the divider. The formulas can also serve to select the parameters of the voltmeter circuit which meet the desired settling time of the measured voltage.
