Abstract

The basis for selection of a set of normalized metrological characteristics of rate gyros as devices for measuring angular velocities is discussed. The rate gyro is examined as an angular velocity measuring device. Recommendations are made in accordance with GOST 8.009—84 on selection of metrological characteristics normalized during development of the instrument.
