Abstract
It is shown that mathematical simulation methods ought to be used in conjunction with instrumental measurements for determination of metrological characteristics of a measuring system. Within the framework of supplementing a calculation-experimental method, a statement and a method for solving the optimization problem of the number of measurements under a measurement control are described.
