Joint determination of standard reserves and acceptance test planning for complex engineering products

Abstract

A decision making process is discussed based on the results of no-failure small-sample acceptance testing for reliability with constraints on customer risk and on conditional producer risk. A simultaneous solution is found for the problems of acceptance test planning and determination of standard lifelength reserves.
