Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

A method of generating precision amplitude-modulated signals based on binary modulation of the length of rectangular pulses of the carrier and subsequent narrow-band filtering of these pulses is proposed. Expressions are obtained for the amplitude-modulation coefficient, and the systematic and instrumental errors are also estimated.
