Abstract
An inside micrometer with a three-point measuring scheme and a digital readout developed at the Scientific-Research Institute of Measurements is described. The three-point scheme has its advantages and shortcomings. To its advantages belongs the steady positioning of the devices inside the measured hole, and to shortcomings the need of calibration with reference rings and the fact that form errors are not detected as even harmonics during measurement.
