Abstract
A differential radio-frequency pickup with a pulsed bias voltage when investigating the physical characteristics of laboratory and ionospheric plasma of the Earth and planets is considered. It is shown that the use of this pickup simplifies the interpretation of the high-frequency measured signal and gives reliable experimental data.
