Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The mechanical method of regulating the delivery of fluid to the cylinder of machines makes it possible to stabilize the rate of increasing the load on a test specimen.

  2. 2.

The mechanical drive for regulating the delivery of fluid permits obtaining more stable results of testing materials at different loading rates.

  3. 3.

The results of the investigation show the reliability of the device in operation and the possibility of maintaining a practically constant rate of straining if elongation of the specimen is insignificant in comparison with its initial length.
