Compensation method for determining small friction torques

  • L. I. Kargu

  1. 1.

The compensation method serves to determine the nature of the friction torque variations as well as its absolute value over a wide range with respect to different parameters.

  2. 2.

The above method can be used for designing an equipment capable of measuring friction torques with an error of 3–5%.

  3. 3.

This method can be used directly on instruments whose measuring axle is provided with angle and torque transducers.
