Conclusions
It is necessary to take into account the impedance of the line when strain-gauge measurements are made with long connecting lines at a sufficiently high amplifier carrier frequency. This impedance can be obtained either experimentally, or analytically from formulas (9) or (14).
In order to obtain a minimum reduction in sensitivity of the measuring channel it is necessary to select the resistance of transducers as closely as possible to the modulus of the connecting-line characteristic impedance.
