Abstract
We have investigated the possibility of raising the sensitivity of a magnetometer by using integrated microelectronic magnetic field sensor and gradiometric magnetic flux transforms, made from high temperature superconductors. A sensitivity of 10−9 T has been achieved experimentally, on cooling the sensors to liquid nitrogen temperatures.
