  • High and Ultrahigh Frequency Measurements
  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

It is necessary to apply diffraction corrections if accurate measurements of various quantities by means of a radio-interferometer are required.

  2. 2.

The above formulas for diffraction corrections provide their determination with an accuracy of about 6%.

  3. 3.

A more accurate determination of the diffraction corrections can be obtained by means of their experimental evaluation for any particular equipment.
