The use of alternating currents for calibrating commercial optical pyrometers

Conclusions

In calibrating commercial optical pyrometers in factory test laboratories it is advisable to use for the supplies of temperature lamps a stabilized sinusoidal current. A certain lowering of the accuracy due to this method is completely permissible in the calibration of commercial instruments.
