Testing of the natural frequencies of vibration in structures

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Conclusions

The results obtained in the above work serve to determine the duration of the transient process in the tested article. It is necessary to block the measuring equipment for that duration in order to test the natural vibration frequency by means of a dynamic-impact method of excitation. By means of this technique it is possible to select the required duration for applying the external force in the above instruments.
