Abstract

The problem of restoring an image of the earth's surface photographed from a spacecraft is investigated. It is suggested that the problem be solved by statistical processing of the distorted image and a standard image containing a similar scene. An algorithm for computing the amplitude of the Fourier transform of the point scattering function is demonstrated.
