Conclusions

The error in calculating kinematic viscosity from (12) is considerably lower than 1% forE>1.1 and it attains 1% only for E=1.1. This error does not exceed the measurement error of an Engler viscosimeter.

Formula (10) is the most convenient and precise for values of E>2.5. This formula can be recommended for converting the Engler arbitrary viscosity to kinematic viscosity for values of E>2.5.
