Zusammenfassung

In Indonesien werden hauptsächlich Mischsteine mit einem hohen Prozentsatz von Uraten gefunden. Verschiedene Faktoren der Steinbildung werden diskutiert und ein besonders geringer Gehalt von Vitamin A im Serum von Gesunden festgestellt.

Summary

In Indonesia the chief type of urinary calculus found is of the mixed variety with a high content of urates. The different factors related to stone formation are discussed. During the investigation of these factors, an unusually low serum vitamin A level was disclosed in healthy individuals.
