Abstract

The solar wind flow behind shock fronts on June 25–26 and August 11, 1967 was studied using data from two spacecraft. For the last event the spacecraft were separated by 0.1 AU. In both cases there is a high degree of correlation between plasma parameters observed from the two spacecraft indicating that the features retain their identity over radial distances of at least 0.1 AU.
