Sympathetic radiobursts at mm-wavelengths

Abstract

Correlated microwave bursts between adjacent active regions have been observed. An example of a ‘sub-burst’ is presented with an interaction velocity of the order of 900 km/sec. The equivalent temperature observed rose from 7600 K–40 000 K.
