Aromatic derivatives of 2-furylcyclopropane

Conclusions

The synthesis of 1-phenyl- and 1-naphthyl-2-(2-furyl) cyclopropanes by Kishner decomposition of the corresponding pyrazolines and by the Huang-Minlon reaction yields a ∼ 30∶70 cis-trans ratio of products.
