Copper salts of hydrates of fluorinated α-keto acids

Conclusions

The copper salts of some hydrates of fluorinatedα-keto acids with a ligand:copper ratio=1∶1 were obtained, which is the first example of a fluoroalkyl gem-dihydroxy group taking part in the formation of an ionic bond with a transitionmetal cation.
