Exchange reaction involving olefin α-oxides and diethyl-β-hydroxyalkylamines

Conclusions

The feasibility was demonstrated for an exchange reaction for the olefin oxide-β-hydroxyalkylamine system, and a mechanism was proposed involving the formation of an ammonium salt as an intermediate.
