Conclusions

  1. 1.

    2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin-1-oxyl can be used for quantitative determination of the volume change accompanying initiation activation (ΔVi ).

  2. 2.

    The value of (ΔVi ) for the decomposition of azoisobutyric acid dinitrile is essentially the same in styrene and in methyl methacrylate.
