Conclusions
-
1.
Aliphatic N-nitramines in methane plasma form stable protonated molecular ions which often form the most intense peaks in the chemical ionization mass spectra.
-
2.
The fragmentation of the protonated molecular ions of aliphatic N-nitramines proceeds largely with the breakage of a C-N bond and the formation of a hydrocarbon radical-ion.
